By using SignalPost you agree to the rules below. We use short, clear sentences so you can read this quickly and understand your rights.

1. Scope & Acceptance

  • These Terms govern your access to and use of SignalPost's platform and services.
  • By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms.
  • Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be 18 years or older to use SignalPost.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Do not share account access.

4. What SignalPost Does

  • SignalPost is a LinkedIn content analysis platform. We help you understand your posting patterns, develop a content strategy, and write better posts.
  • We use AI to generate analysis, voice profiles, strategy recommendations, and draft suggestions.
  • We access your LinkedIn data via the official LinkedIn API (OAuth 2.0).
  • Our analysis and recommendations are informational only — not financial, legal, or professional advice.

5. LinkedIn & Third-Party Accounts

  • By signing in with LinkedIn, you authorize us to access your LinkedIn profile and post data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You can disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time from your SignalPost settings or from LinkedIn's Permitted Services page.
  • On disconnection, we delete your LinkedIn data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Your relationship with LinkedIn is governed solely by LinkedIn's own terms, including the User Agreement, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Branding Guidelines. We are not responsible for LinkedIn's availability, changes, or actions.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • SignalPost uses third-party AI providers to generate analysis, suggestions, and draft content.
  • AI outputs are provided "as-is." Always review AI-generated content before publishing.
  • You own the content you create using our tools. We claim no ownership over your drafts, posts, or strategies.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.
  • We do not use your data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is processed by AI providers.

7. Data & Insights

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • We may generate anonymized and aggregated insights from usage of the service for benchmarks, product improvement, and industry reports. These insights do not identify you, your organization, or your content.
  • SignalPost owns aggregated insights, but this does not give us any ownership of your underlying LinkedIn content or personal data.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Plans and prices are listed on our pricing page.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew for the same term unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — only a Stripe customer ID.
  • We will notify you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
  • All fees exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Prepaid fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Acceptable Use

  • No illegal, harmful, or infringing activity.
  • No automated access to SignalPost beyond our provided tools.
  • No reverse-engineering, decompiling, or bypassing technical controls.
  • No using SignalPost to spam, harass, or mislead on LinkedIn or elsewhere.
  • No sharing account credentials or reselling access.

10. Intellectual Property

  • SignalPost owns the platform, its design, code, and branding.
  • You retain full ownership of your LinkedIn content and any content you create using our tools.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide and improve the service. This license ends when you delete your account.

11. Suspension & Termination

  • You may terminate at any time by deleting your account from your settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for material breach, security risk, or legal requirement.
  • On termination, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy (LinkedIn data deleted immediately; billing records retained for 5 years per accounting law; backups overwritten within 30 days).
  • Prepaid fees for the current billing period are non-refundable except where required by law.

12. Disclaimers & Liability

  • The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of LinkedIn data, the quality of AI outputs, or uninterrupted availability.
  • SignalPost's total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid during that period.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or willful misconduct where the law does not allow limitation.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms. By using SignalPost, you agree to the data practices described there.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
  • Exclusive venue for disputes: Harju County Court, Tallinn, Estonia.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU, you additionally retain the protection provided by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

15. Changes

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at least 30 days before they take effect.
  • Continued use of SignalPost after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
